DirectionsThe House on the Tickle is located exactly 10.5 kms from St. John's International Airport and 16 kilometres from downtown St. John's.
From St. John's International Airport simply turn right at the intersection of Airport Road and Portugal Cove Road. This road (Route 40) leads you directly to the community of Portugal Cove - St. Phillips. Once you see the small cove, continue straight ahead (Portugal Cove Road now becomes Beachy Cove Road), passing the turn off for the Bell Island Ferry Terminal.
The House on the Tickle (white with blue trim) is located on the left side of Beachy Cove Road on a small hill overlooking the Tickle.
From Downtown St. John's take Duckworth Street to Cavendish Square (directly in front of Fairmont Newfoundland), taking the right lane, drive down Kings Bridge Road to the traffic lights. Take the left turning lane (New Cove Road), up to another set of lights, (you will be at the intersection of Portugal Cove Road and Elizabeth Avenue).
Continue straight ahead on Portugal Cove Road following the directions for the Airport. Once you pass the road accessing the Airport, following the directions above. Just 10 minutes from St. John's International Airport and 15 minutes from St. John's, the House on the Tickle will transport you to outport life but within easy distance of city living.
