Welcome to the House on the Tickle in the traditional fishing community of Portugal Cove-St. Phillips. Portugal Cove-St. Philip's is truly "where the sun meets the sea" with its majestic sunsets, seaviews and rolling landscapes.
The community is part of the Killick Coast, a coastline known for its whale watching, icebergs, berry picking and hiking trails. Just 10 minutes from St. John's International Airport and 15 minutes from St. John's, the House on the Tickle will transport you to outport life but within easy distance of city living. |

According to the Dictionary of Newfoundland English, a tickle is a 'narrow saltwater strait, as in an entrance to a harbour or between islands or other land masses, often difficult or treacherous to navigate because of the narrowness or tides.The tickle can also be a settlement adjoining such a passage. |
We have closed our tourism home but would like to thank all those guest that made it such an enjoyable experience.
